What we collect

• Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write.

The message tool

The "Share a corner" tool on the contact page runs entirely in your browser. What you type is not sent to our servers. It is only transmitted if you choose to email the text to us yourself.

Why we use data, and our legal basis

We use emails and messages to reply to you, which is our legitimate interest in running the site and answering enquiries. We use server logs to keep the site secure. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

How long we keep it

We keep emails for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and normally delete them within 24 months. Server logs are kept for the period set by our hosting provider.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help run the site, such as hosting and email, under suitable agreements, or where the law requires it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your data, object to its use, and request portability where applicable.
